About my Photo Process

I use photography as an exchange. An exchange of memories, thoughts, experiences, artistic expression, and time. Photography will always be some sort of a belief system in practice. It's not a business ordeal but a collaborative tool in the way that light shapes literally and figuratively every moment.

Captures preserve a moment that may be temporary in a world where we tend to miss being present. There tends to be a repeating theme of the balance of industry verses nature within my life experiences and body of work. My portraits may reflect how we interact within our environment when given pause. We all take part in the system while building new systems. The most important key is experiencing joy. I am passionate about photographing someone's soul or experience rather than a beauty standard.

Feedback- Maternity

They're really special, so grateful, thank you. Your super talented. The ones inside look like an architecture magazine with couples. The outside photos I absolutely love.

O.M.G. those pictures are so beautiful...I don't know what it is what they see before to even take a picture like that. She did a fantastic job. Wow. Those photos are absolutely beautiful.

Feedback - Viewer

It's like Humans of New York but instead of the text, it's in the capture.

Feedback - Fam Shoot

"I absolutely love them. We look forward to future shoots."

"These photos have me crying. I love them."

“We need acts of restoration, not only for polluted waters and degraded lands, but also for our relationship to the world. We need to restore honor to the way we live, so that when we walk through the world we don’t have to avert our eyes with shame, so that we can hold our heads up high and receive the respectful acknowledgment of the rest of the earth’s beings.” - Robin Wall Kimmerer

“Photography is a strong tool, a propaganda device, and a weapon for the defense of the environment…and therefore for the fostering of a healthy human race and even very likely for its survival.” – Eliot Porter
